Flying to Narita Starclass. Departing SYD domestic to Cairns .
Is there lounge access in SYD.

Are you flying from SYD T1 or SYD T2?

If the former - Yes

If the Latter - No

Business Lounge Access said:
StarClass customer can access the lounge on day of departure when travelling on a Jetstar operated flight with a JQ flight number. Lounge Access is only permitted in the port where Jetstar StarClass operates from.
Qantas Club Access (Domestic Lounge) said:
No access as StarClass only operates on international flights.

Thanks. Looks like it is T2 domestic. There should be a QF lounge at T2 Gate 49?.
Serfty, can you recall if the wider aisle on the 330 200 on the right (J/K) side. Looks that way on the J* seat map.

By the rules I posted you have no *Class based lounge access to T2 in SYD.

You can always try (with a smile), but don't be disappointed if you get knocked back.

As far as the cabin goes, the general aisle widths basically look the same in the pointy end so I would forget that as a guide.

2D or 1E if you can get 'em.

Other than that avoid the A side due to the sunset later in the flight.

thanks Serfty, I might try the international booking bit - hope the domestic boarding pass is stamped StarClass (I'm in the exit row so thats no help).
Great report of your's on the Starclass cabin.
