I've done a little bit of searching but not been able to find a confirmed list.

Does anyone know which European cities are still OK to fly into on a J saver?

Looking to fly in September, to anywhere in Europe. I'll travel around a little before eventually making my way to LON.

AMS / MAN spring to mind.. is this still the case, and if not what others are there?

TIA!

Last time I looked MAN was off the list, still on it were AMS, CPH, FCO, FRA, IST & ATH.

Good luck. Also remember if you're on the east coast, due to limited flights that allow savers originating in SYD/MEL chances are better ex-BNE than anywhere else on the east coast.

Flying out of PER, availability looks reasonably good to SIN on the 1am flight (is a space bed so can sleep all the way ;)), so it's mainly availability from SIN onwards. From the dummy bookings I've done, it looks like I can waitlist a saver fare, and book a standard.

CPH or IST could be interesting to fly into... then spend 2-3 weeks trekking my way across to the UK to kick off my Visa (assuming it comes back approved :)).

Yes MAN is now off the list (which means England is).

I flew into MAN a couple of weeks ago on a J Saver, but that was only because I had booked it almost a year ago.

The route has been upgraded to a new plane with a new stop in Munich after Singapore. So no J Savers after this change.

I'll most likely fly into AMS, FRA or IST then.

Can you post a link to where is the updated list? Cheers in advance.

There is no official list as such, other than the SQ timetable itself. If a flight is operated by a 77W there are no J or F saver awards. If a flight is operated by an A380 there are no J saver awards (but there are standard awards) and no F awards at all. If the flight is listed as being operated by A330, 772 or 773 there may be J saver awards, subject of course to availability.

That's what seems to be coming through for me. I bet my chances of my waitlist clearing are slim........

Don't forget the 747-400 as well.

 My bad, reports of it's death (from SQ) are premature. IIRC, still have 5 or 6 left in the fleet operating SIN-NRT-LAX and SIN-FRA-JFK and random filling in on other destinations.

Didn't really think about F, due to there being no F ex-PER...

Just select First Class on the redemption screen & it will come up with 1st class on the SIN-FRA legs & Business on the PER-SIN Leg (They put notes in red at top of screen advising you which legs are being booked in a lower class).

I have redeemed a F saver award for PER-JFK, the PER-SIN are in business & SIN-FRA-JFK in First.

I wonder how the points will compare to J saver PER-SIN and J saver SIN-AMS/FRA... vs J standard PER-SIN and F-saver SIN-AMS/FRA....

Yeh, that seems to be the goer. The only issue is doing that I can get availability on the F saver, but not the J saver to SIN! :p

How does F on the 744 compare to J on the 772?

Skysuite in the 747 is miles better than the J class in the 772/773, plus with a F ticket you will have access to the TPR at Changi.

The other gotcha is that I'd need to fly into FRA rather than AMS...... decisions.....

Ok, now before I go ahead and book.. I just wanted to confirm, if I want to cancel the redemption for whatever reason, as long as it's less than 24 hours before it's either 3,000 miles or $30 to do so?

This is what I found-
"
I have confirmed and ticketed my redemption booking but I would like to cancel it now. How should I go about it?

If the ticket for your redemption booking has been issued, but it has not been used, please call KrisFlyer Membership Services to cancel the booking. Miles will only be re-deposited into your KrisFlyer account if they are still valid and have not expired. A service fee will apply, and is chargeable at 5,000 KrisFlyer miles / USD50 for KrisFlyer members, or 2,500 miles / USD25 for KrisFlyer Elite and PPS Club members.
If the cancellation of ticket is within 24 hours of the scheduled flight departure, a cancellation fee of 7,500 miles / USD75 will also apply, in addition to the service fee above."
