I have fond memories visiting the BNE First Lounge on Boxing Day 2005 at the invitation of a very kind AFFer Lindsay Wilson. It wasn't my first lounge visit but it was my first ever First Class Lounge visit. The lounge itself is relatively quiet with a couple of desktop PCs and plenty of food and drink on offer. Thanks Lindsay.

Therein lies my dilema - we have to long haul flights coming up in J - myself, partner and at the time a 9 month old infant. In J we have bulkhead seats, bassinet and are seated together. If this can't be replicated I don't think I want to take my chances!

The centre seats [3 rows] are not suitable for an infant. There is nowhere to put a bassinet. The Bassinet position is next to 4A and 4K on the other side. The best you can expect is to be on same side of the plane.

You will see the seat map at

I personally only need one ;)

But when you need one, and someone else had a need just prior to you, you may think differently ;).

When a flight is called for boarding, there can be a queue as people prepare for a long flight.
