And I thought snow in DFW was the worst! (it happened to me a few years back - they didn’t cope well).

LOL - I've had that experience there too - sat in a window seat in the AA lounge for several hours watching complete chaos unfold - it seemed like they only had one de-icing machine for the entire airport, and nobody outside seemed to know how to cope with the conditions.
 
DFW in storm season can be an "interesting" experience.
Severe weather shelters are there for a reason. :oops:
