Interesting podcast episode on how airlines, and airports, treat passengers with disabilities.

This episode focuses specifically on air travel but is part of a wider series on accessibility presented by three-time paralympic gold medalist and now chair of National Disability Insurance Agency Kurt Fearnley.

I haven't listened (I don't have the patience for podcasts when I can read 10 times as fast), but I can state that we've always had almost perfect attention and service when travelling with a wheelchair passenger. Just about the only time I had a problem was when they almost didn't let us through the priority access in departure at Heathrow. I always use it, regardless of ticket class when with a wheelchair. They let us through in the end anyway.

Heck, once we had all of our checkin done for us while we waited on some nearby chairs! That was in business class in aisia, though.
