Who out there are 30 Nov anniversary and does that bring pain or not ? I'm staring down losing WP so it's a bit painful for me but I suppose tomorrow will tell if I get comped or not. I'm well short this year (my first as WP) but average SC across the last 2 years is 2500 so I'm touch and go. I'll update once the axe falls.

No pain for me. I comfortably made my target of gold and had an unneeded double sc offer for past two months. Its made me investigate status runs for next year to make WP.

Even with today's announcement?

Frequent Flyer - Member Specialss - Double December Christmas Offer[/url]

One is: Enjoy your gift of double Status credits when you fly anywhere in Australia this December and January. Simply register and make a new booking between 1 and 31 December 2013 for an eligible Qantas domestic flight^ for travel from 1 December 2013 to 31 January 2014Ω.

And the other is: Enjoy your gift of earning double Qantas Points when you use Qantas CashTM on all eligible purchases in December*. This offer is available until midnight on New Year's Eve.

The DSC offer for flights in December/January is not dependent upon using the Qantas Cash Card? Have I got that right?

I think you missed the details, puppysparkes, today is the end date, double SC offers aren't going to help me.

I'm a Nov 30 too. 1490 wiped but planned travel has me 700+ already so I think a quick jASA to TSV for next month is in order. I'll sort out the few remaining later in the year. Will be my first mASA by phone [gulp]

I'm looking particularly sad for 2014. Plenty of flights booked up but most redeeming the large stash of points I have been sitting on and no ASA's so my SC earn for the year is going to be poor. The DSC offer for December/Jan was no help at all.

I am in the same situation as you Ashleyn, :( SC's wiped at end of November.. I'm based in the UK at the moment so fell a long way short of retaining WP for the next year unfortunately.

I've only been a QFF member for three years, only the last of which was WP, so didn't expect to be comped. However, when I look at my summary today it shows that "Status reassessment will occur: 30 November 2013" yet in "Retain Platinum" section below it says "Additional Status credits required by 30 Nov 2014 to retain Platinum: 1,200" - so a bit ambiguous, not sure if I have been comped for another year or not.. What do you all think???

Thanks very much

My SC reset on the 30th November as well. Just scraped into WP at 1400, a bit strange not seeing that figure on my summary anymore. Don't have nearly as much flying planned for the next year so maintaining WP is unlikely but as long as I have a soft drop to SG I'm not too fussed about it.

Scott.

Got the same on my summary, fingers crossed.

My SC was also reset on 30 November. But with a new SC year and a trip to the States planned in May, I might try to get to WP.

As an aside, I noticed QF has already extended my SG membership to 2014 about a week before the end of my SC year. Granted I was only 10 SC short and I would have requalified with a flight that I took on the 29th anyway. Still nice of them to extend my membership.

No comp for me, back to Gold.

Mine wiped too. QF, feel free to credit the SCs and DSCs I'm still waiting for into this year :)
