It would appear that JQ have pulled their Domestic sectors between MEL-SYD that run out of the international terminals.

I came across it by accident when i was looking for a friend and found it wasn't an option, checked my booking and sure enough it's been changed.

This will cause a lot of disappointment for those WP members who enjoyed the odd F Lounge run!

Will

Edit: Seems it was just on my travel date - even more disappointed

Don't think so, I can still see them available for sale.

It might just be your particular flight, or a period of time then.

First time I've heard the cessation of a Jetstar flight number called sad. :D

Normally it's a cheer isn't it.

They have not been completely removed, but they are certainly less frequent.

From SYD to MEL:
JQ29 - Tuesdays only at 1005
JQ35 - Tuesdays and Saturdays at 1500

From MEL to SYD:
JQ42 - Mondays only at 0905
JQ36 - Wednesdays only at 0905
JQ30 - Fridays only at 1150

I had a look at the timetable in July and there appears to be additional Jetstar international flights running between SYD and MEL at that time, such as JQ3, JQ4, JQ18, and JQ27.

As I fly between SYD and ADL very often, I sure miss the old QF81 / QF82.

it varies week to week, your schedule above isn't quite right. e.g. look at MEL-SYD on 12 May

Hmm sorry to drag up an old thread, but it appears all the international JQ flights MEL-SYD do not go past 24th October (JQ9, 18 or 27). I wonder if they'll turn up again?? They were available in November when I was looking a few weeks ago ....
