IS there somewhere/somehow that I can see the pricing for the outbound leg of an airfare for an entire month?

Is there somewhere/somehow (preferably on the QF website) that I can see the price for the outbound leg of a Qantas airfare for the entire month? The booking screen shows just the pricing for a few days either side of a given date and moving backwards and forwards to dates beyond those few dates can be painful to say the least I'm really wanting to see all on one screen the price for the outbound leg of (in this case) DPO-MEL-SIN-LHR for each day of a four week block (because I'm pretty flexible with dates for a change) but I can't seem to find such a screen:( If not the QF website then another website?

That's what I am looking for - but I'm not finding it?

Is that the web/PC or laptop or on the app? I'm on my laptop.
That was the app. But also ITA Matrix search can help. More powerful than Google.

The website will do the simple calendar view I posted above. The app is just a client that uses the website for many things.

But as I suggested above, ITA Matrix is potentially more useful. If you use “Calendar view” and trip duration X to Y (max 7d between X and Y). You’ll get a feel for the cheapest date combos. You can force it to only filter QF, or use “ALLIANCE oneworld”.

Cheers - have moved to Matrix now and am starting to get a feel for how this trip is going to look - booking DPO-CAI return isn't easy if avoiding stops in the Muddle East - six months ago I would never have dreamt of going via LHR to get to CAI, but I've got a QF DSC banker that needs to be used by early Oct and I need the SC's. LHR-CAI is pretty straightforward, but CAI-LHR isn't looking good as far as connection times go.

On ITA Matrix you can exclude a “Connection point” by using the “routing code” like “~X:xyz”. The “~” is a negative meaning don’t show options connecting via airport “xyz” eg DXB.

If the $ amounts aren’t looking good, what you can do is bung in a bunch of inbound destination (click on the “+” symbol and add nearby ports - keeping in mind that you want to get to CAI but see if there are ports cheaper nearby and maybe pop across to CAI on a seperate - assuming you have the time).

In reality, if you want to maximise a banker booking, then forcing the search to QF codes (use “Routing code” ‘QF+’ and “Destination” ports as those that QF metal flies to eg LHR, CDG and FCO.

I got around to looking at the QF website and it looks like the “Calendar” pricing for one way AND return trips only seems to works for a single flight eg DPO-MEL (one way or return) or MEL-SIN etc.

Playing around with ITA Matrix, I was struggling to get the filter to avoid DXB (not sure why). Even flights to LHR (which look to be significantly cheaper than a ticket to CAI via DXB), the cheapest QF option includes SIN-DXB-LHR!

But the “Extension code” -CODESHARE (no codeshares) seems to work better. I was concerned that might filter out some DPO-MEL options but looks ok.

Here’s the calendar view for a one way flight ex DPO to either LHR, CDG or FCO flying QF and no codeshares.

Clicking on 16 Sep, it’s CDG that’s the cheapest on that day and if I click on the To/From filter, I can see the prices for FCO and LHR.

You could run the search for just one port at a time and manually work out the best day, price, port that works - allowing for a seperate flight to CAI. Note: a one way QF codeshare DPO to CAI is $2170 for 35 hrs of DPO-MEL-SIN-DXB-CAI.

Many thanks @SYD - much appreciated. I will hopefully get the quiet time tomorrow afternoon that I was expecting today to sort through it all, and see if I can get one of the cheap Iberia J fares for the LHR-CAI then CAI-LHR bits. BA in Y costs +/-$1400 return for LHR-CAI and pays 20SC's each way, whereas I think that I might be able to get LHR-MAD-CAI & return for +/-$1650 and that pays 140 SC's each way - if so then its a no brainer.
 
BTW have QFF announced yet the dates when the planned changes are coming into effect? Such as
- the end of the discount for renewal (vs obtaining) SC's for each tier level?
- the date that PC'ers no longer receive SC's for reqards flights?

No, nothing yet. Still down for “late this year”.

But if you have retained PC already, then you’re covered for SC earn on CRs until at least the end of your PC expiry.

It’s been suggested (not surprisingly) that the new attain/retain thresholds will be staggered based on anniversary date. For example, I’m about to reset on 01 Aug. Hopefully safe to say I’ll have a 1200 SC bar to retain WP. Plus, PC+ until 31 July 2027. I’m doing the sums, but it might be possible to sneak in another PC until 31 July 2028.
