Is there an easy way to check Fare Class?

With aa.com no longer providing the savings over the QF site. Is there a way other than expertflyer.com? I do not fly enough to justify the monthly subscription and want to know what fare bracket the QF site is quoting. I know with the aa.com you can see the fares in the details section but QF will only show AFTER you have booked and paid for it (on the eticket receipt).

What I do want to know is if I buy a Red-edeal, which for my own travel I mostly do. I would like to know if it is the dreaded "N" for deciding which program to credit, or even if Mrs Altair has only got the AAFFP weather that she is going to credit for the flight.
I have been told to look the QF available fares on Expertflyer but as I stated I do not think there is enough value for me to get it.
Oh I was looking at booking a fare off the QF site that WLG-SYD that went via AKL. As QFNZ domestic only has WHY fares what fare class is the WLG-AKL component? AA.com shows as "Y" which gives either 10 more SC on QF or 1.5 miles on AA. Personally if it is "Y" when bought through QF I will credit it to QF.

From the QF site, there is really only one way to differentiate between N and O class red e-deals.

When searching on-line; you will often see two different pricing levels for direct flights in the red e-deal column. O class is the cheaper, N the more expensive. (Be aware of domestic sectors of international flights being offered as thre can be a difference).

A bit more detail:

• Search for flight prices between the cities you wish to fly. Best to look at flights on a Friday afternoon a week or two hence; this should give you a good mix of these fares.
• Try different dates until you get these two different figures. Note these two red e-deal prices down.
• Look up the dates you wish to travel on and book the ones that match the cheaper fare level.

(One word of warning here, and is valid today as I post. Watch out for "Sales". If you divine the O class fare level using dates later this month as described and then look up a date in November, O class will be cheaper. This is due to the current Sale [Sale On Now]. These Sale fares book into O class and override the normal O class pricing.)

I haven't seen that before (not that I've been checking much). All except full Y is discount economy anyway.
