Thanks, there are strikes threatened at OSL a/port so I hope that gets resolved soon.

Would love to write a TR but it seems to be beyond my abilities on the bloody ipad min with which I have a mostly hate relationship.

snip .... looking forward to the TR (please), have a wonderful and hassle free trip!

I not fond of a huge pile of meat between two bits of bread myself.

Also in Chelsea on 23 rd Street is Eataly. Think Italy pronounced in Italian and you get Eataly. Highly recommended.

OMG!!! I just arrived early this evening and headed to the Flatiron Eataly
Where has that been all my life :D

Princess, it IS hard to know where to start on all that Eataly lovely food. After Eataly, you could walk down to High Line (if you have not already walked) and go south to The Chelsea Market, some nice places there to eat too.

If you enjoy a laugh the famous Comedy Cellar in Greenwich Village is a must!

I've been there a few times and have seen some amazingly good comedians and there is almost always a big name drop in, ive seen: Chris Rock, Louie CK, Jim Norton, and Judd Apatow all drop in unannounced.

The Macdougal St is the original venue and it pays to make a free reservation or you'll miss out Comedy Cellar | Comedy Club | NYC

I was just checking the Hamilton Tickets for my next trip. The good news is that there are some for May, bad news is that they are USD849 for rows not too far from the front.

Tried to get a ticket for early July. WOW, can almost think of 3,970 better ways to blow US$3,970 :D

There's a Hamilton lottery. Jump on to it on the day as the performance you'd like and they let you know just after 1600. You then have 1 hour to pay USD10 for a ticket, or 2. I didn't win, but it's only about 50,000 to 1 chance. ;)

I missed that !! Will go back and check it out :D

That bar is the only place in NYC I have not tipped - rather my friend who is a NYer refused to tip. Great location though!

Make sure you check out Smorgasburg in Brooklyn - at Brooklyn Flea. It should have restarted again for the season. That's some good food there!

The other guaranteed winner is lunch at Bouley. Think it's still $55 plus tip/ tax and drinks for 5 courses of great food. The bread trolley is phenomenal!
