Is T1 at CDG one of the worst in the world?

Sorry, heading should read T1.

I think so. Having just experienced it again, my view is reinforced.

i don't know when it was built, but it is a great example of fashion over form. Very clever, crisis crossing elevators etc. But it is full of narrow corridors, there is no sensible flow of passengers, particularly at baggage collection where people trying to exit can not get past those trying to get their bags. The departure lounges where the gates are are seriously undersized. There were 2 A380s around gate 44 yesterday and the area was packed, not to mention the back up at X-ray.

i will be happy to avoid it as long as much as I can.
