When making Air New Zealand domestic flight bookings (i.e. Auckland to Nelson) using the airnewzealand.com.au web site, which is pricing in AUD, will the credit card transaction be processed in Australia and hence not charged as a foreign transaction?
The price is showing pretty much exactly the same in AUD on the .com.au site as for NZD on their .co.nz site (given XE exchange rates). So is there any reason to pay in NZD using 28 degrees card to avoid foreign transaction fees, or just pay in AUD on .com.au site using an AU points-earning card?
