Hi guys,

My dad has a bunch of QFF points (around 500,000) which he would like to swap for SQ Krisflyer miles (He's hooked on Suites haha).
Is this possible ? Can it be done ? And how ?

I suspect it would be a breach of terms of conditions if not a family member, but I thought I'd ask.

Thanks

With Qantas once points are in the scheme they can only can be used for flights, upgrades, products as they list or transferred to eligible family's QF freq flyer account. No swaps or sale allowed in the terms and condition's.

Some people do "give" flights to other people, but you risk having your account closed. Have never read of QF cancelling an family transfer, but with 500,000 points would not be risking it. Refer to posts by person from a certain NSW post code on his USM ffp problems.

So your father will just have to endure QF, EK, BA & CX first class rewards (if he can get them).

As mentioned you cannot "swap" QFF points to other programs.

But do not there are ways to get points/miles from hotel loyalty programs to airline loyalty programs and vice versa but generally the exchange rates are not that good.
