Is it possible to buy VA (SQ code share) flight that includes stopover in SIN?

Hi all,

Anyone has any experience in buying VA flights that code share with SQ that includes stopover? For example, MEL to CGK via SIN, the stopover will be in SIN. On the VA website I can't do so using the multi-city search. Is this possible? Is it worth calling the call centre to attempt to book?
