Hi everyone,

I'm soon travelling on QF118 from HKG - SYD, which is the A330 service. I have read a very recent trip report online of this route, but the 747 service. It shows the following lavish spread for breakfast:

Looking at the (very few) trip reports of the A330 service, the breakfast looks different, a lot more mean! Is it different according to the aircraft, even on the same route?

One last Q - is QF118 a 'supper' service? What does this mean actually, no starter with dinner?

Thank you for any insights

I believe that the menus will be identical for both QF128 and QF118 (and also the flights to MEL and BNE).

I haven't taken this flight recently though so can't comment on the actual meals. Hopefully someone that has will chime in. :)

A "supper service" is NOT dinner. It's normally a single course, smaller plate (plus drinks etc). They presume you will have eaten dinner earlier/in the lounge, and appreciate that the majority of pax are probably going to want to get to sleep ASAP.

Are you allowed, say, three items or strictly ONE only?!
