Is anyone going to Europe during the Christmas holidays with Emirates?

My daughter and I plan to go to Europe mid December in 2010 returning in late January. Emirates looks the go at this stage.

I was wondering if anyone remembers the best deal that came out during the year with Emirates. Our dates brought forward to this year would cost just under $3000 if we tried to book now.

How low did the fares go?

We have been back twice in the last three Xmas, and every time it cost around the $3K mark. I thing that you should look at Best Flights ( http://http://www.bestflights.com.au/cheap-flights/phone-flights-results/UK-and-Europe/Economy/1 ) , and get an idea of the prices over xmas. Then go direct to the Airlines (Look at the previous thread on Best Flights), or try a travel agent. If you are willing to pay there are some great Business class fares around.
