Is anyone else having problems with the site when trying to book flights?

The VA website and app are doing some very strange things whilst I've been trying to book flights today. Flights either not loading at all or just only some flights or only morning or afternoon flights. It's starting to be quite annoying...

Noticed this this morning too when searching for flights. Showed certain dates between MEL and SYD as unavailable, or like you experienced, no flights in the morning or afternoon. Seemed to fix itself when I refreshed the page, but it did happen a few times. Just checked again and it seems back to normal, maybe a bug in an IT update or something?

Edit: it’s still playing up and showing very weird things. Did manage to book the flight I wanted without any hiccups at least. That bit was all smooth.

Tried to book some CHOICE fares last night. Spent a half hour trying to use a Travel Bank flight credit. They can be used on all flights they say.

Try to use it and the JaynePuta said not able to be used. Battled this for ages.

SYD-ADL is hardly an exotic route.

It can be used on flights but not fights... Try at the final payment page itself instead of this initial flight search screen?

You should be able to apply the amount of your travel bank you want to use on that booking. Your travel bank just accrues. Usually the little slider comes up and you just pick how much you want to use.

Future flight credits are the ones that can only be used on certain flights that have the availability for it. Although I’ve never had one of those issued…they always cancel it into the travel bank which I’ve never had an issue using.

Maybe give them a call, because you should be able to use whatever you like from your travel bank.
