Bit of an odd one, but is anyone having the time on their iPhone jump around randomly?

It's currently 3:15 in Perth, yet my phone believes it's 17:46 for some reason?

Yeah, mine will do that when I go to Darwin and use the wireless aboard my vessel. Quite a few people have been caught out and late for work when they use their iPhone as alarm clock.

Solution for us was to manually change the time zones and not let it do auto time zone changes.

In our case it may get confused by the wirless system which is running from a server in Italy (though the time zone change was Perth/Singapore).

Nope. Perfectly fine. What network?

With Optus, but have it connected to my Telstra Wifi at home.

It peculiar more than anything

Telstra do some strange routing with there Internet traffic, it is possible that your Internet traffic is being router through Adelaide .. hence the 2.5 hours time difference

I think, and I'm no phone technician (or anything remotely close, even), that the mobile network takes priority over your wireless connection when it comes to time setting.

I'm always messing with my time to get extra lives when playing candy crush. How sad. :p

I used to mess with my time when submitting an assignment by email.

It doesn't quite work with the new turn it in type software packages.
