Are people experiencing issues and hence the mini update? There seem to be so many issues with the mini update I'm sticking with 8.

I'm sticking with 7.1.1 and I wish I didn't even have that.

The iOS 8 release is available to old iPhones not just the new models.

8.0.2 on iPad Air and iPhone 6, working A-OK for me.

Turns out I had a hardware issue which meant a replacement was needed...guess that's where the C in 5C comes from...ie "cough"

I'm not sure what the rush is to download iOS8. There is enough information about the glitches/issues for me to wait at least a few weeks.

Am I missing something here?

Yep. Like I've said before there are some nice improvements - eg predictive text, and I've had no problems.

Yep I updated 5S and iPad Air to 8.0.2 yesterday and both work perfectly. I can even upload pics into posts here with I could not do until I updated. The predictive text feature is excellent for us slow old one fingered typists.

One slight oversight from Apple, you aren't able to upload photos on safari on ios8. So if you are using mobile FB, iOS8 is no good for you

OK I could not upload pics here until I upgraded - but can now. I don't do Bookface so cannot help there sorry.

I'm trying out the Safari version on the iPhone. I really much prefer the app. Much easier. And doing it the safari way just jammed up the iPhone. So had to repost. I'm currently updating now so will see if it fixes my pictures upload.

Hate the way updates always turn everything back on! And there's no predictive text using the web version.

I use the app no problems, but I am too lazy to sign in and out of a personal profile and another profile.

Must be a facebook issue.

WOW - how good is the voice recognition feature with Siri on iOS 8? Been playing around this aft creating MSGS etc - amazing accuracy.
