Is it just me or are other one fingered right handed typists also pissed off also that the Bookmarks tab has been moved to top left of Safari page?

And that you need to re-tap bookmarks logo to close bookmarks list after your selections?

Or am I just a simpleton?

I haven't noticed that specifically, but I have been underwhelmed by iOS8 so far.

The only useful thing this far has been the SMS Mute feature; now my phone won't keep vibrating 20 times when the family are having general conversation in our group message

Disabled the suggestion keyboard feature, no use to me

You are not alone in being annoyed re the Bookmarks. It made sense for the symbol to be on the right, now on the left i have to keep looking for it.
And having to tap it to get rid of the bookmarks panel is just annoying. Guess we will get used to it but not happy with it.

Don't upgrade to an iphone 6 if you are 1 handed user. It is now too large to use one handed, really frustrating.

I haven't heard one person say a good thing about it yet..... two phones at work died during the upgrade.....

I said something good about it a couple of posts up from yours.

We've upgraded three phones now and no issues. Everyone in the P household likes it.

my email program seems to say "last updated Friday" despite updating...
it was "last updated yesterday" despite updating as well
So I think tomorrow it will say "last updated Thursday"

I am so enjoying the count back... Not!

My wi-fi signal keeps dropping out at home even when I do not move my iPhone. It's pretty atrocious actually. On re-connection it offers me my own network in a list as an option.
Have tried turning the router on and off but no improvement

Maybe your phone is failing and you could get a new one?

I haven't updated to iOS8 as it's not suitable for the 4S. I've actually deleted the update so I don't accidentally install it without thinking. Unfortunately neither the 5S or the 6 comes with a country blue tick so are no good to me living in a rural area with very limited reception. I might end up having to change to a Samsung Galaxy 5 when the 4S eventually dies.

The more you play with it the more it grows on you - except for the moving of the Bookmarks tab - PITA.

Of course there may be a way to customise / reposition but I'll need the clever dept to assist me on that one.

Not had any issues, either with the upgrade or using it on my devices. With regards to Safari I particularly like the "frequently visited" section now, makes for much easier opening of web pages.

The "recents/favourites" when opening the task manager is also good, very easy to get into a message with a fav/recent contact now, especially when you bury apps in folders to un-clutter the screen!

Looking forward to the final version of Yosemite too, as the beta is pretty good but not 100%.

Another thing which isn't working for me is AirPlay. I have updated my AppleTV software and can start screening things from my iPhone by switching it on via the command centre but the connection drops out every minute or so. I tried to watch the 60 minutes Boneyard story this way last night and gave up.
Prior to iOS8 I had rock solid ability to use AirPlay, it's now completely useless :evil:

Actually, IOS is Cisco's OS (Internetwork Operating System), which Apple licensed and is officially iOS, which is not an acronym).
