Did a search, but couldn't find anything that was recent so here goes. Also couldn't find anything on the VA website so forgive me if I am rehashing old stuff.
I have a MEL-LAX-MEL flight on VA booking using points + pay travelling in Y+. I booked this early so I could be guaranteed getting on these particular flights.
But now I now have enough points to be able to travel the MEL-LAX leg in J, and there are seats available for 29 November.
Is it possible to upgrade by simply paying the extra 24k points that it requires? Or is it not as simple as that?
I did notice that when doing the original booking online, that travelling one way in J and one way in Y+ was not possible so I am guessing that doing so now would also be impossible.
Any help before I plead my case to the Velocity team on the phone?
