OK, so I'm coming back from Tahiti to Auckland in September on QF codeshare and then have a few hours wait before getting on an F award EK (QF code) to BNE.

How do I check in for the EK ticket? - Do I have to exit and come back in or can I check-in at the QP?

I'll be HLO. Is it possible to get them linked in the booking so I could maybe get BPs all the way from Tahiti?

Any tips on easiest method gratefully accepted.

Check in online would be one option. Otherwise I believe there is a transfer desk at AKL

Start by asking on Tahiti if they can check you in on both and u through check the luggage.

Go through international connections security and go to the EK lounge. They will be happy to issue BP's. I did this recently. Yes, I did get an odd-ish look, but they did it. I did check in online the day before, but that seemed to actually confuse things a bit tbh.

One does not need to show BP at the connections security point. If HLO no need to worry about bags so all good.

note: EK lounge, not QF. QF won't be able to help.

As an aside if TN(Air Tahiti Nui) are late you could be right out of luck so fingers crossed.
