Hi-- I'm returning from Saigon to Darwin and then connect to Cairns. I'm on a JetStar leg from Saigon and then on Qantas to Cairns. With 70 minutes between arrival and departure... am I likely to miss the domestic flight?

Have you booked flghts already? Is the booking on the one itinerary?

DRW is not a big airport but you will more than likely still need to clear customs and immigration in DRW and check your bags in for the QF flight so 70 minutes may be pushing it.

If you were connecting QF to JQ then I would be worried but the other way around is much more desirable.

Hope all works out for you and there are no delays with the inbound JQ aircraft.

The airport advises a 120min MCT from INT-DOM (see section arriving in darwin at bottom of page). Given you're coming in on a JQ flight and your QF sector might not be booked on the same ticket - then I would allow for the 2hrs to be absolutely safe.

As JohnK said, DRW is a small airport. Once you have arrived, exit the customs hall and turn right. Keep going past the domestic baggage belts and swing around the security point to reach the check in desks.
