Hi Guys,
its that time again, i am looking at heading to NAD (Fiji) in January..
I have not been on an international short haul Virgin plane in a while. I normally just fly business/premium.

Have these planes been upgraded? What does the new seats look like? Are the old ones still kicking around?
Anyone seen any reviews? Just a curious on experience.

My plan is to fly out of BNE-NAD..?

Cheers
JD
P.S i am thinking i might seriously consider another airline this time around if Virgin still haven't got their act together on aircraft..

Sounds like you'll be flying with FJ. BNE-NAN is operated by ZK registered aircraft fitted with an all-economy cabin, using the first two rows as premium economy by blocking the middle seat.

My understanding is that due to their alliance with NZ, DJ won't offer J on the Pacific Island routes because for the most part NZ doesn't.

I have done the NAN trip a few times and the planes are the same from DJ that do BNE-MKY routes and similar.

Agree with Fruitcake. In mid-September we flew BNE/NAN on one of the old Virgin Samoa planes. Was allocated Row 3, which turned out to be PE seating but as expected Y service (Saver fares).

Haven't done the TR yet and photos are on my daughters' iPhone I think.
