Hi Guys

Flying in two days time on EK433 (BNE-SIN) with 5 hour transit before my flight on 3K835 to NGB.

Sure, plenty of time to exit and recheck bags, but ideally I would love it if I could check the bags in BNE through to NGB, so I could go direct to the transit hotel and a good block of rest before continuing on, albeit only 3-4 hours worth - and may not be worth it if I can to exit and then re-check.

So questions:

1- Can anyone confirm (not guess) that one can check bags through to 3K with EK?

2- Failing that I cannot, does anyone know if someone can in SIN check bags into a 3K flight at 9am - a whole 5 hours prior to departure? I am assuming they have a lot of flights throughout the day, but do they allow early check in? The information that I have been provided with on my ticket says check in opens 2 hours prior to departure time, and closes 40 minutes prior.

Thanks in advance.

EK does have an interline agreement with 3K so it should be possible. Whether they will do it on separate tickets is a different issue.

All checked in and bags checked all the way through to Ningbo. After a few checks, was all ok. I guess flying J class with EK helped as well.
