In case anyone is wondering, dogs and cats are not eaten in Mongolia

How much carpet can come onboard?

According to MIAT's website:

Carpet:
1. No more than 40kg.
2. Must be folded in square and total of each length is no more than 203cm.
3. Only one prepaid pet allowed per passenger. It is subject to reservation availability.

For point #3 I assume they mean carpet, not pet.

The cost to add a carpet to a ICN-UBN booking is around AUD120.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

If I understand correctly, the traditional dietary belief was that people shouldn’t eat vegetables as they are thought to be bad for your health/cause cancer

Isn’t MIAT planning to become OW connect?

According to ET based on one comment from a MIAT executive, who says they'd like to be in OW at some stage. Don't really think that one has many legs.

Interestingly though, MIAT also allowed you to input a FF number from pretty much every SkyTeam airline, but not any of it's codeshare partners such as JL or CX.

This would send the old ducks at Red Roo into an apoplectic fit.......
