I didn't think the ratio's looked right at first glance

Not taking angle of the shot - depth of field or the fact the 737 is closer (should 'appear' larger) into account it just didn't seem right.

But scaling off the screen shoot the A380 was 17 'units' in length ... the 737 was 7.8 'units', not allowing for points above that makes the 737 roughly 45.9% of the A380's length

An A380 is what 73m long ? ....737-700 33.6m long ? .....so the ratio on that basis is 46% so I guess it is in the ball park ..........but for me that picture just doesn't look kosher at all ...... I can't see an A380 on 24R and a 737 on 24L that close on final approach at LAX for love nor money.

Must admit that without the 737 in it, it is a still a good photo
