FR24 and competitors can be useful to AFFers but sometimes entertaining as well.

I briefly watched a procession of northbound flights ex SYD at around 1800 hours on Monday 24 September 2018.

First was QF544 (B738 VH-VZN, the 1800 hours to BNE, followed by VA539 (b738VH-VUZ), the 1810 hours but OOL-bound. Third was JQ788 (A320 VH-VGQ), also a scheduled 1810 hours departure bit en route to MCY, with TT382 (1805 hours up to BNE, stalwart VH-VNP) appropriately bringing up the tail.

Not always the case, but all are either early or less than 10 minutes late (though minor delays may occur closer to the destination).

Their order reflects relevant Australian market share, and also on display is the 50:50 split between Boeing and Airbus. Overall however if I'm not mistaken, Boeing has a larger share of the Oz domestic market for this size aircraft as the two majors have larger fleets than JQ and especially TT.
