Interesting .... Bookings through QF/BA compared with VA/SQ

Something I wasn't aware of until yesterday, but assume may be the norm with QF/BA/One World airlines.

Made a booking directly through BA's website using my QF FF number and found that when I went into my QFF account, the BA booking showed up.

So, wondered with the VA/SQ relationship now if the booking I made directly through SQ's website using my VA FF number would show up in my Velocity account - but alas not.

Hopefully VA/SQ (and associated airlines) will be able to bring this feature in at some stage. Would be very handy to enable tracking of bookings.

A very handy feature, largely thanks to the wide use of Amadeus by *O airlines.

With VA and SQ both using Sabre I would imagine the capability is there but it's likely VA can't access SQ secured PNRs or vice versa.
