Is there much to do at night apart from nightclubbing ?

Of course just like all big cities, including Sydney and Melbourne, museums are open 24 hrs, there are well lit activity trails for bush walking, 24 hr amusement parks, 24 hr golf courses, etc etc. :)

More seriously, lots of bars (as distinct from night clubs), eating aplenty at least at the hawker end of the spectrum plus probably a few more upmarket places, 24 hr department store -Mustafas- for shopping, and of course the casinos. Some would argue, like many Asian cities, it is more interesting at night than by day.

Eating.

Seeing the lights at the Gardens by the bay. Night zoo followed by drinking a red bull and letting your husband loose at the Funan Mall/shopping. Sitting in your club room at MBS and watching the boats and people.

What time is "night"? Eating and shopping are the main ones, shops open til 10 or 11pm on weekends. Live entertainment at the marina on many nights. Your general assortment of "culture" including shows, plays, etc.
