G'Day All,

According to the QF checked baggage page I can take up to three 'infant items' on a flight at no charge (so long as I have a corresponding infant!).

Does anybody know if the same allowance applies on a QF codeshare flight that's booked as part of a mostly QF metal itinerary, or would we be stuck with the 'host' airline's allowance?

Specifically, I'm thinking of ADL-SIN-FRA-LHR-SIN-ADL with the FRA-LHR leg on the QF codeshare flight with BA after a few day's stopover in FRA.

The correct answer will be rewarded with advance notice of the flights that we're on so you can avoid a well behaved 9 month old baby and two seriously cranky parents!

Thanks

Steve

Hi Steve, my infant is now 6 so my info may be a little out of date.
Never had a problem carrying numerous baby/infant items along with 4 children on either of QF/BA.
Both airlines are in general very welcoming of infants/children.
FWIW I wouldn't avoid your flights as I don't mind kids.
Serious answer is I think that the QF allowance should apply
Happy Travels :)
