Hi all

Just an FYI. Two weeks or so I tried to book 2xJ awards using AA points syd-lhr-syd with no luck.

Just checked randomly today and had not toruble getting pretty much the awards I wanted syd-lhr-syd with only 1 stop on each flight.

Might be worth people having a looksee :)

I am absolutely over the moon as we plan to take babysimpending (when he is no longer pending) to the UK to visit friends/family.

This is one very happy sim :)

Could have something to do with the following in an article in todays paper.
Corporate overseas travel for October was down 6.9%, and yet to be released November figures will be down further....
NO ONE in the industry would comment of December figures, but QF has award seats still available for flights on 23 and 24 December, never heard of previously.

Wonder what Corporate travel in 2009 will be ?? down 20 - 25 %

Maybe a J excursion to SIN for a few days - anyone up to it during the Xmas & NY break? I must be back in MEL for NYE as Mrs! and I are reliving our teens and going to a huge dance party...

Mr!

:D

I have requested a J upgrade for my flight from LHR to Syd in Feb. Hope it comes through!

I've found the same on LH and LX. I've just booked a couple of flights ex BOS to Asia for June and found tons of availability. Flying to SIN (with stopover in Zurich), I could have found the necessary flights on any day I looked. Also booked some flights to CDG ex BOS for the inlaws for Christmas presents and had no problems getting flights for January.

This is just fantastic :)

What it also means is that when I get my full Amex bonus points I can use the points for a macbookair and a new TV for the bedroom rather than flicking the points to Virgin Atlantic to get their better availability...
