impossible to check HK flights from New Caledonia on qantas.com.au

After sending several email to QANTAS, the problem is still the same since 2011 and it seems not to affect anyone except few customers like me. I never received any reply from QANTAS. Is there someone from QANTAS reading that post who can reply ?

The problem :

If you choose New Caledonia location on qantas.com.au and choose HK as the destination you will see an error message "

Flight Search error:​

• We are unable to find recommendations for your search. (#7190)"

If it makes you feel any better, I often get the same message trying to research bookings starting from ADL.

With the changes to the booking engine you can do a search from the Australian web site, there is no longer any need to be in a particular countries section to get the destinations:



Its possible the system just cannot find any flights that connect within the settings it allows.

I went to the qantas.com.au site and it won't work for me either, regardless of what dates I put in and if flexible with dates or not - it rejects the request out of hand with Error 66002 - always defaults dates back to the 5th July on the error page. See screen shot below.

No problems seeing flights originating in Australia to Port Vila...

Have you tried using the QF multicity tool and keying in the booking as NOU - SYD then SYD - HKG ? That sometimes works for me.

I didn't try but that's a very good idea i will try right away

I had a quick look at multicity but the message was to choose a valid route. I looked for Noumea - Syd - Hong Kong. Not sure if the OP had better luck.

I tried to book a multi city but unable on the new website

I tried again these days but unsuccessfully. Even if you don't have a connecting flight on the same day QANTAS should show it.
