Hmm, F looks like a remote possibility given history but things change :D

Exclusive to Qantas Frequent Flyers
As impossible as it sounds, we're adding even more excitement to the 2011 Formula 1™ Qantas Australian Grand Prix.
If Qantas Ambassador Mark Webber finishes first in Melbourne, you and a friend could experience the luxury of flying First on the Qantas A380 to London to be part of the F1™ action at the 2011 Formula 1™ Santander British Grand Prix.
If Mark comes second, you'll fly Business, third in Premium Economy and Economy, if he doesn't place.

The prize also includes two Paddock Club Corporate Hospitality tickets to the 2011 Formula 1™ Santander British Grand Prix, 8-10 July 2011. As well as four nights, 4 star twin share accommodation in London, return airport to hotel transfers and return transfers from your hotel to the Silverstone circuit.
All in all, it's a Qantas trip of a lifetime to make you cheer on Mark a little louder than usual.
To enter simply register your details below before 5pm, Sunday 27 March 2011.

A double edged sword - if he doesn't place then I'm not sure I'd want to win. :D

Entered anyway.

Registered as well. I don't like the idea of it being as airy as it is. Too many unknowns. Then again, I am into extreme sport.

I know this is childish of me, but does the photo look like something else more appropriate for the bedroom - almost phallic what Mark is doing. :p

the positioning of his bottle might be a bit unfortuante to those with one track minds... ;)

Interesting wording on the registration page;

If Mark finishes first in Melbourne, you'll fly first to London

nothing about you could fly first so is this confirmed then  :?:

Not an F1 fan so no idea what his chances are but seems strange...

Nah. One can spray foam on a girl anywhere.
Provided they don't get caught. ;)

Registered yesterday… too bad the Bahrain GP didn’t go ahead, or we’d have some idea of how the car is performing this year.

Although testing does not provde true results in this "don't let them see what you really have" environment that is the top level of all forms of racing with limited testing, these days. I think that the RBR will be a contender. The thing that might hold him back is that everyone else is pushing that much harder this year to achieve and the relative unpredictability of the performance gains (if any) of the new rules, especially the adjustable rear wing.

My prediction is that Mark Webber will not win the 2011 Australian Formula 1 Grand Prix.

I entered and wont win; I have no luck.
I would have a window of opportunity to go however, if i did.

Murphys law being what it is, If i was stuck on call I would win and he would place! :p

thinking about Mark Webber luck, which has been dodgy up until 2010.
we've always had a saying "would never want to be on a plane flight with MW, as he was always so unlucky".
flying to NRT in J in 2008 on route to Mt. Fuji for F1, woke up early morning and used the facilities, and guess who was in front row of J. MW and his father "AW". OMG had just survived a flight with MW. deep breathed and txt F1 friends that we had survived a flight with him, after all the bad jokes. saying that he was really cool, and nodded hello to us at the bag collection point as we were wearing F1 merchandise.
had in previous years had him sign merchandise, flags, hats etc so didn't him so just happy to get thru without any bad luck.
saying that...............bring on F1, 2011. with sadness that Bahrain is not happening (attended there 2007), am now attending the first 3 races of 2011.
Bring on the competition for Silverstone. i'm there!!!

I love F1 but I wouldnt fly economy to the UK for anyone. I have entered but would decline a whY flight to the UK.

Worse than that, simongr - it involves a return trip, all within five days! <shudder>

bossreggie, have you entered? ... ;)

I've read the terms & conditions in detail.... just wanted to check that there was no line snuck in there saying "If Mark crashes on the first lap you fly JQ" :D
