Hi, not sure where to post this... Anyway, unfortunately I am constrained to IE6 at work. Just thought I'd mention some of the website does not render properly in IE6, particularly the menu's. I understand we are behind the times and thats our problem but unlikely we can upgrade our browser anytime soon. Thought I'd mention it anyway!

Ditto here, but it's minor compared to some of the issues I have on other websites with IE6. I have installed google chrome (although I am not supposed to!) just to overcome some issues on other sites I regularly use. Airline related, I struggle with both QF & JQ sites using IE6 (although not consitently).

IE6 support for websites is only going to get worse over time - and TBH, that's a good thing.

IE6 has many unfixed security flaws that almost certainly won't get patched, as that version has been EOL'ed. For security reasons if nothing else, your sysadmins should update your SOEs.

Ditto again here - work have IE6 and AFF is a mess on IE6.

Main issues for me:
- menus at the top
- first unread goes off centre and requires re-scrolling
- threads that the user has replied to arent marked in a "new posts" search.

Could admin please reply if there are resources to improve AFF on IE6?

Have you tired running firefox portable from a personal folder on your C drive/ I run it from mydocs and that avoids the lack of admin rights issues. I dont think you are installing software as such - just running something from MyDocs...

You don't even need Firefox portable; I run full Firefox from 'data folders'.

(Also do this at QP's - I have a batch file that copies the folders across to available data areas and runs FF from they - another batch file to clean up afterwards ...)
