IC Auckland - New property

Don't know if it has been mentioned previously but its nice to see a new IC coming to Auckland scheduled for the end of November. Located at 1 Queen Street, right down the bottom opposite the ferry terminal and close to the viaduct area. Cant see too much info on it yet but I'm going to be in AKL next week so I'm going to check out the building.

Great news indeed! Knew it was in the pipeline but good to see they have a tentative date now.

Will be keen to check it out, still scarred by my experience at the Auckland voco late last year

Have been following this with keen interest given the amount of time I have been spending in Auckland recently and will continue to do so in the future! It's a great location, just hoping it is not outrageously priced as the other IHG alternatives in AKL aren't great.

Building looks as if its progressing well. Bottom 2 floors are retail use and are occupied by food and restaurants and are in use. Next 8 floors will be the IC with the balance as office space still well away from completion. I think the IC will be in use by the expected date but dont think the office space will be completed internally

Will be interesting to see what it's like. I was in Auckland week before last and instead of the Crowne Plaza I stayed at the JW Marriott as it was close to where I was at an event. Took me a while to realise the JW was the old Stamford
