Hi all,
Have a booking scheduled in Sept for BCN to FCO via MAD on Iberia. Question is- they keep changing the flights and asking me to confirm the changes. Latest change has me departing MAD two hours before I arrive. Should I be contacting them now, or wait til August as I can imagine the flights changing a lot between now and then...
BTW flight was booked as BCN-FCO and ticketed with a change plane in MAD.

Thanks!

I would recommend you contact them now as the changes seem to be over with (I had several Iberia tickets booked which were similarly affected).

Well worth doing in advance, especially if you want to secure good seats.

Thanks... Do you know if IB have local Australian reps or do I need to bother Europe?

We have 4 upcoming IB flights and had some minor timing changes in Dec and early Jan. It seems that they've just done an annual revamp of their scheduling so there's a good chance that it's all sorted now. I'd agree that you are best to get it sorted now if you can. IB don't have an Australian phone number nowadays so you'll have to ring them in Europe but good luck with that because on our last trip I found it impossible to get any sense out of their Europe people when our tickets were inexplicably cancelled several times. Thankfully I was able to get QF to get it fixed because we had booked our awards through them.

If you booked through IB I guess your only option is to call their Euro phone number.

BCN-MAD is one of the busiest air corridors in the world. There are flights every 30-60 minutes. Why would they keep moving people around like this?
