I read an article last year by the Frugal Travel Guy about claiming compensation of up to 600 Euro per pax from European airlines for delayed flights etc. Since we had recently returned from a trip where we missed a MAD – JFK flight because of screw-ups by IB staff in MUC, I decided to give it a go. The claim is ongoing mainly because IB have been very slow and it took several efforts to actually lodge because of difficulty finding an email address that didn’t bounce back, but at least they have issued a claim number and are engaging………
Anyway today I received an email from Iberia Plus asking me if, as someone who has lodged a claim, I would complete a poll. The email was in Spanish but there was the option to translate it into English.
“You are one of our clients who has recently made a claim. First we want to apologize, and since we have the ambition to continuously improve the service we offer, we would like your opinion on the management of the claim. Please answer this short survey. Thanks for sharing with us the illusion of flying!”.
Apart from being puzzled about the "illusion of flying" bit, I’d love to do their survey but unfortunately it’s in Spanish, and there’s no English option. So I can’t even tell them the problem I’m having replying to the survey about the problems they asked me to tell them about. Doh!
