I have forgotten how to get the photos the correct size to load on here. Help please

Have some cracker photos of South Africa to upload but not sure how to

The pics need to be smaller size (kb) than most digital cameras take these days; not sure what the max is, but 500kb is plenty. To down size, I use the snipping tool, part of MS office. You just drag across the open image and it copies it, at lower resolution, such that a typical lapton screen of image will produce ~250kb. Comes out well on the site.

To post an image, in a message box put the cursor where you want the image to appear and then choose the 4th icon from the right in this image. I'm not sure if everyone's tool bar looks the same, but this is the 'insert image' icon.



It'll bring up this:



I always select from computer; hit select files and you then navigate to the directory where you have stored the image you want to post.



Then hit upload files. you can select multiple files to upload at ones (except if you use the 'basic uploader' - just one at a time).

Depending on how you have your editor set, you'll either see a mini version of the image in the message box, or an [attachment] type text.

My phone does the resize all by itself when posting.
