Recently booked KA992 HKG-PEK and the focker is delayed - see below:

So then you gotta look around and try to find somewhere to relax:

Once you find that spot - you just gotta hope it suitss your requirements:

Yep this spot might work:

Looking more promising by the minute:

Hmmm - could give this place a serious going over:

Thanks for taking one for the team. We fellow travellers appreciate it knowing we might have to do it one day ourselves. So a well worn path is always good to have.
May your Champagne be cold and be full of bubbles.

It's usually an Airbus isn't it? ;)
I feel for you but I'm sure you'll use your considerable experience to make the most of the situation.

So you are basically saying you love delays so you can spend more time in the lounge.

Well I really hate delays. Especially when I miss the free transport into Brisbane City and I have to pay the exhorbitant airtrain cost.

See if Qantas can get me there on time today at 5:35pm so I can get the last Tbus at 6:00pm.

Wow. For an F champagne bar, that's very disappointing. Moet? Really?

Veuve is acceptable in a pinch, but even now I prefer not to.

I never understood why people raved about the Wing F lounge. It's nice, but it's not anywhere near the MEL/SYD QF F Lounges.

It was much nicer when it had a Whiskey Bar, back when the QF F lounge was still a sparkle in the eye of its creator!

I get the spirit of your thread but wondering if you would still enjoy delays in airports without lounges or when the delay spoils your plans?

Sounds like a question for the civil libertarians demanding no lounges in airports.
