Moving up the status ladder is a great feeling and I doubt I would have achieved it without AFF. I went to Gold for the first time last October after being a QFF member since 1997, without status runs or double status credits, just a couple of domestic trips I otherwise wouldn't have taken. It helps to fly to JFK in J each year though

And husband just got Platinum for the first time after I worked out how many extra SCs he needed by the end of this month and packed him off on some trips to the footy and cricket, which he hated of course haha. First Lounge here we come!

AFF is going to be responsible for getting husband to platinum this year. In the end no need for status runs but the JASA bookings did the trick.
