I just had to say how much I love being a plat.
I booked a return fare SYD- OOL, new years eve same day rtn (meeting friends for lunch), rang the plat line and waited a whole 3.4 seconds for the lovely VA lady to explain the system & confirm my 2 comp upgrades to business.
So easy.....never flown business domestically before, so this should be nice...

thank you virgin

hey strtrek,

njoy and ya if you can then do fly to Perth from Sydney on the A330 using comp upgrades, having done that I can say business class is worth only on A330 and not the 7's...

This. Did it for Easter this year and it was brilliant both ways.

I still don't think WP is much better than SG.

I agree, but if you travel on EY via AUH or are flying back from LAX, I think the F lounge will be the ONLY reason why I would recommend WP over SG
