If one were to book a return J fare through QF Singapore site, but only use one leg of the ticket (SIN-AU), would it be possible to refund the un-used AU-SIN leg? Expecting there would be fees involved, but would a refund eventuate, or a credit?

I doubt you would get a refund, as the fare would be recalculated as one way which often is more than a return.

Currently SIN PER OW is $4412 SGD.
