Hygiene tips for hotel rooms...

I generally avoid using the drinking glasses in the room as they are cleaned in a dubious manner even in some of the best hotels. There is no point spraying anti bacterial products around, that's just crazy. I watched a woman on a flight recently pull out a pack of wet ones and wipe down the armrests, remote and tray. It can get s bit nuts!

I find the thought of hygiene on an aircraft much worse than in a hotel. But still I fly in them!

In hotels, knowing exactly how cups and glasses are often cleaned by house keeping, I might boil up some water and err... give them a hot rinse out.

The rest I don't care much about. Or don't think to care much about.
Yes this is the only thing I worry about, I wash the glasses, cups and cutlery as these are always cleaned by housekeeping never taken to the kitchens for a real clean, check the hot water kettle too as I have found a very disgusting thing in one, out of many hotel visits.
