Hi Ladies & Gents,
I am of to honolulu in JUNE. staying at Hyatt Regency Waikiki. Seeking a room upgrade with my hyatt gold passport point. I am a few thousand short. Can anyone tell me if you can conver QFF to hyatt gold passport?

We just checking in right now. We purchased the rate required to use points to upgrade - its not the best available rate but still its cheaper than buying the club room or suite itself. We are here 3 nights, the points upgrade total was 3000 points (it costs only 3000 points up to 4 nights - not per night max stay 4 nights). I always read it as 3000 was the total but thought I must be wrong and it would be per night. Turns out its not, it is exactly as it reads.

Does that help at all?

Side note - we are here only due to my illness and inability to fly, booked 5pm yesterday to check in today, at check in the lady was chatty, asked where we had been and how we'd enjoyed everything. We were checking in at 11am not the 3pm time also I should add... she so kindly upgraded us from our points upgrade of a Club Room to a Penthouse Suite. I am platinum, but only platinum its the first step up. We did just stay at the grand hyatt in kauai, I wouldn't have considered myself a valued enough guest to get such a thing and my partner said he didn't think these things really happened but this is a sweet room!

Once your points are in QFF, they're staying there (unless you purchase something through the QF points store; there's no moving your points to another program though).

As mentioned though, you can purchase points for a top-up. Your other option is the current 'stay 3 nights, get 3000 points' bonus offer running through end of May. I play on getting a tidy 45k or so from that =)
