Do you mean Lawsons? Or are you just saying it the way the locals would pronounce it? ;) :p

I wonder who Lawson is/was? Doesn't sound too Japanese! Haven't seen them anywhere else though.
 
Another vote for Japan. I've visited twice for work, once in May and the other in January. I'd favour spring over winter!

And anytime is better than summer. Made the mistake of going there one summer, but then I had a DONE4 to complete. The temp was at least mid 30s and that was considered mild. :-| Having always gone in winter (to escape the Melbourne summer heat), it was a bit of a shock - like visiting London in summer this past July. :p

I've seen Lawson convenience stores around in other bits of North Asia - Seoul and Shanghai namely. I think they might be a Canadian franchise.
