Here on AFF there are two major issues in the Qantas thread:

1) http://www.australianfrequentflyer....ntas-lounge-shoe-policy-concerning-73536.html and:

2) http://www.australianfrequentflyer....priority-boarding-qf-domestic-what-30246.html

Now if there was a role rotation whereby the people in charge of shoe/thong inspection were put in charge of domestic priority boarding and vice versa then there is a good possibility that the level of enforcement appropriate to each situation would be applied according to the AFF threads.

So my fellow AFFers, would this work?

Should we at least ask Qantas to trial the job swap?

The consistent issue is customer convenience and service. Both cases involve Qantas denying passengers - either lounge access or advertised benefits. I'm not sure a job swap would be enough to overcome the inherent need to deny the passenger. ;)

Red Roo - this post is made in a jocular and jovial manner.
