Hi there

Have an AA Award reservation on hold at the moment, how do i pay the taxes? , Can't find any link on the award booking page to pay the tax, just says it is on hold until 13/08:confused:

BTW it is for HNL-LAX-LHR and return, and as far as AA are concerned i am a UK resident.

Cheers

If you are a "UK resident" (should I cough?), then I suggest you call their UK office to pay the amount.

You could try the following numbers:

1300 650 747 (Normal Australian reservations number - assume it's now diverted to India)

Or for the UK

+ xx_xx_xx_x (Not sure if this works properly from Australia).

Where's Dave when you need him?

Hi DJ737 - you can ring any of AA's reservations offices - either in Sydney or the States if you prefer. They will take CC payment for taxes I believe. If calling the States dial the regular 0011 1, then continue with the 800 number they have for reservations. Calls are charged at the regular international rate.

+44 8457 567 567 (Not sure if this works properly from Australia).

Reporting for duty sah

Don't phone the 8457 number, the special non geographic numbers cost a *lot* more than a normal UK number. The normal geographic number for AA in Eggland is +44 20 7365 0777

The AA office in that suburb of Australia called India *should* be able to handle it , but havent found the Indians that useful to call

Dave, I agree, the Indians were useless to answer questions about a RTW Global Explorer, she couldn't even tell me the base fare.

Hi there

Just made a call to AA reservations, and after some discussion the agent was able to ticket me with an Australian AMEX as the intinery originated in the US at HNL, she also wasn't aware that SYD office was closed:rolleyes:
