Hi guys,
My partner is the main applicant of the Platinum Velocity card, I'm a supplementary. We family pool in velocity.
I want to take advantage of the refer a friend bonus points and apply for a card myself.
What card should I go for to achieve maximum points? It seems that the velocity platinum yield 47,500 and the platinum reserve 60,000 MR that can be transferred 1:1 to velocity. I don't want the Platinum card as the fee is not worth it to me.
Are there any tricks or promos to maximise points when referring a friend?
Once I get it ill probably keep it for a year, enjoy the complimentary flights and cancel before the next fee is due.
