How to get value out of a UA e-certificate if not in the US

My wife and I just got $150 e-certs from UA but have no plans to get any travel in US next 12 months, any ideas how to get some value out of these?
 
If they can only be used for tickets in your names, you're undone.

But, maybe you can do a swap deal with someone for something of value.

Or, & I don't know the details of your eCerts, maybe you can donate them to a charity.
